2010 Winter Events In and colse to Anna Maria Island

If you’re planning on visiting Anna Maria Island this winter then you’re in for a treat as there are loads of consuming events set to take place. Whether you’re a returning lover of the island, a local or a visitor staying in Anna Maria Rentals, there’s abundance to keep you and the house entertained.

October Bayfest 2010
The tenth annual Island Bayfest kicks off at 10am on Saturday 16th October 2010 right straight through until 10pm the same day. If you’re keen to get celebrating early then a kickoff party is to be held on Friday 15th October featuring the Dr Dave band. The distance of Pine Avenue will be jam packed with arts and crafts booths, sell booths, food stalls, drink stalls, not-for-profit booths and of policy restrooms. Not only this, the free trolley stops off here so you can save all the walking until you hit the avenue! The headliner this year is The Billy Rice band with the rest of the line up to be announced nearer the time, providing live music all day.

November – April Bridge road Sunday Market
The Bridge road Sunday store kicks off on 7th November 2010 and is a Bradenton Beach tradition. The store is held at 107 Bridge road weekly from November to April. Stalls on offer include: fresh produce, jewellery, garden art, local artwork, clothes, accessories, food, music and much more. This customary winter store is great for searching out bargains and looking great souvenirs to take back home.

February – annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival
If you’re planning a beach wedding or are just a wedding enthusiast in general, the 4th annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival is right up your aisle. Taking place on 27th February 2011 from 11am – 5pm, the event is set to see over 800 festival goers. They’ll be more than 60 wedding professionals contribution help and advice to perspective brides and grooms, enabling you to plan the exquisite paradise wedding. Best of all there will be food caterers contribution tastings and also a Groom Zone which is geared towards the grooms – providing wedding necessities alongside games and events.
